Strategic Planning- teacher training in school bullying

I hear over and over again from parents, that teachers don't do anything about bullying.

When it comes to reducing bullying in a school district, we need to remember that any plan starts with the school board. To make that happen the school board needs to pass the program onto the superintendents and they in return pass the program down to the schools. If the teachers have no training on bullying and on how to be objective when it comes to bullying, how can we blame the teachers?
I just received a call from a school board who wants our program in Illinois. They want us to do an assembly on how to stop bullying. My question back was...are your teachers trained on what to do when it comes to bullying? She replied that they have a program on character education. So the answer is, the teachers don't know what to do.
Anyone from a school board who is reading this please note: you can't stop bullying unless the people above know what to do. You don't stop bullying from the bottom up it, starts from the top down.

Check out the best school I’ve ever seen when it comes to reducing bullying and that is Haines Middle school in Pennsylvania.

If your school board is looking for a proactive approach to this epidemic please give us a call at 1 866 333 4553 we'll send you all the information about our school and community proactive program.
